Junior High Leadership Conference (JHLC)

Strathmore School is proud to host JHLC 2026! This year, students and advisors will hear inspirational keynote speakers, experience impactful connections with other students from across Alberta, learn new leadership skills, and believe that students are “BOLD and BRAVE.”

• Registration Form due September 30, 2026.
• Fees are $75 plus GST.  Payment made to AASCA. Each school will also be charged a $60 annual AASCA membership fee, if not already paid.  
• Once the school has completed the form an invoice will be emailed to the lead advisor. Payment can be made by cheque to The Alberta Association of Student’s Councils and Advisors (AASCA) or e-transfer to aasca.leadership@gmail.com

Horizons Leadership Conference

A Horizons Leadership Conference brings excellent keynote presentations and provides PD for student council or leadership advisors. The agenda is designed to provide all participants with motivation, inspiration and information to make their school a better place to live and learn. This is an opportunity for an advisor to encourage leadership students and give them an opportunity to look to the horizon and plan what they can do to improve their school and community. More importantly, it is an opportunity to introduce some potential leadership students from your school to a motivating and inspiring conference.

Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC)

We are excited to welcome you and your student leaders to Haliburton, Ontario for the 39th annual Canadian Student Leadership Conference. CSLC will look a bit different this year as we make adjustments to suit the needs of both our organizing committee and our member schools across Canada. Hosted at Camp White Pine, one complete site will serve our conference needs, with a few local flares included in our plans.
